​I am  an American/ Dutch  clarinetist specializing in chamber music.

​

​With my  Rietveld Ensemble  we established a concert series in 2014 in Utrecht, The Netherlands  and we now perform a series of  8 concerts each season with a variety of musical collaborators. 

 

I am committed to working with living composers and  performing their works.

​

My  CD   "To Paradise for Onions: Songs and Chamber Works of Edith Hemenway"   came out in December 2018.

​

A second CD of works by  Dutch and American composers with whom I have had  long standing relationships (Carlos Micháns, Edith Hemenway, Oane WIerdsma, Thomas Oboe Lee and Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk) has been recorded and  is due out soon. 

 

I taught clarinet and chamber music in The Netherlands at Codarts, The Rotterdam Conservatory for more than 30 years.

I am an Uebel Clarinet Artist and a Silverstein Inspiring Pro Artist.
